If your child has an eye infection and you are concerned it may be Periorbital Cellulitis, there are some symptoms you can watch out for. These include:
- Fever
- Redness and swelling of the eyelid
- Redness in the whites of the eyes (conjunctivitis)
- Eye swelling in the front of the whites of the eyes (chemosis)
- Runny nose
- Infection will be painful to the touch
Your child’s ability to move their eyes and vision should not be affected.
